Welcome To Our New Home!

This year's concert series celebrated the completion of the new facilities and refurbishing of the sanctuary at Haddonfield United Methodist Church.  From your entrance through the new Sayre Center and Pavilion to the refurbished sanctuary (completion in March) to the reception area in the new Family Life Center, you will see Faith at Work.  This is an active concert year and we will use different spaces in the new facility for the carried musical events.

HUMC Children's Choir Musical

Continuing a 27 year tradition, our children's choirs present their spring musical during our morning worship.  "Elijah! God's Faithful Prophet" is a musical for children based on events that can be found in I Kings 17-18.  Through fire and rain, in prophecy and prayer, the power of the living God is revealed for all to see.

New Jersey MasterChorale
Sharing the Joy of Music

This final concert of the season features the New Jersey MasterChorale with David Lofton, pianist in Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, Opus 80.  This exciting "concerto with voices" is a precursor of the famous 9th Symphony of Beethoven.  David Lofton brings his incredible keyboard talents to this small monument of thrilling music.  Also on the program, the NJMC presents the St. Cecelia Mass of Charles Gounod.  It's famous "Sanctus" was a featured work on last season's Jubilate! 2007 concert with the Academy of Vocal Arts.  Rounding out the program will be the 4th movement of Felix Mendelssohn's Reformation Symphony, featuring the hymn "A Mighty Fortress is Our God".  Members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Friends will be the featured instrumentalists for the evening.  (Free Tickets)
