Chancel Choir

...these committed singers off choral leadership at the 10:15 a.m. worship service. Weekly rehearsals offer opportunities for musical and spiritual growth.  Each year the activities for the choir include a Lessons and Carols Service on Christmas Eve and the traditional presentation of the Dubois Seven Last Words on Good Friday.  Audition not required. Call the Music Office at 856 429-0403, or just come to a rehearsal.

Celebration Teams

...teams of singers, instrumentalists, media, and sound persons lead music for our 9:00 a.m. Celebration Service in a contemporary atmosphere. Interested patricipants please call the music office 856-429-0403 for further information before attending a rehearsal. 

Handbell Choirs

...there are two adult handbell choirs that offer a strong focus on fellowship and musical growth.  These groups prepare music to present in worship and occasional special events.  Holtz Handbell Choir will be featured in the Sonic Spectacular Concert on October 16, 2011


New Jersey MasterChorale

...The 120-voice auditioned New Jersey MastorChorale seeks to present music for chorus and orchestra of the highest caliber.  This season in addition to the Sonic Spectacular on October 16, the Chorale will present the traditional Madrigal Dinners December 1, 2 and 3 featuring a variety of style of Christmas music.  In March, singers will again join forces with the Academy of Vocal Arts, Philadelphia in presenting three performances of Jubilate! The final concert of the season, April 22, will feature choruses from masterworks such as Beethoven 9th Symphony. Auditions are scheduled for new members. Lights - Camera - Action

The Children's Music Ministry offers a music and drama experience for children 4 years old through grade 6.  Rehearsals incorporate early vocal training and basic music fundamentals in a loving and accepting environment.  These young singers participate in worship services on a regular basis as well as Christmas Eve and the Annual Musical.

Parents & Grandparents - Join us in the Sayre Pavilion for coffee, iced tea and conversation while your children are singing and ringing.  We request that a parent or grandparent be present for the organizational meeting the first day of rehearsal.

Rehearsals are Wednesday afternoons . Begins September 14, 2011 4:30-5:15 p.m

New Youth Choir

Saint Cecilia is the saint of music and musicians.  She has been lauded by composers, poets and artists alike as a source of inspiration and a protector of our creative rights.  The Saint Cecilia Singers is a new vocal ensemble of youth at Haddonfield United Methodist Church.  The ensemble will perform quality sacred literature in a variety of styles as well as explore other genres of music.  Performances will include Sunday services as well as church and community events.  It is the goal of the ensemble to provide a unique and rewarding musical experience for youth grades 6 through 12. ...This handbell ensemble for youth offers the opportunity to learn challenging handbell techniques and play in a precision ringing team. We play sacred hymns, contemporary Christian pieces and occasionally some popular music. There are several openings for new ringers. Music reading is helpful. Past handbell ringing experience is not necessary.
