Frank Baxter Bible Study meets every Sunday 9:30 am in room 307

The Reverend Robert Smyth leads a verse study of the Bible. We take the word of God and with Bob's guidance try to determine its meaning and what it means to our lives. Our mission statement is: "All Christian Disciples should know God's word through Bible study".  We would like to ask you to join us, if you feel you should know more about the Bible.  This would definitely be a good start.  We sing a couple of Hymns to get started, which is unique today.
The Frank Baxter Class has a rich history in our Church. It started as a Men's Study well over 100 years ago.  During the 1930's, a saintly self taught Bible teacher named Frank Baxter took over leadership of the class. The class expanded to 30-40 men each week. The class was named, in his honor, shortly after his death in 1962.
We merged, in Sept 2005, with "Goodwill Bible Study".  The Goodwill class was co-ed, so from that point we have been co-ed and that's a good thing.  That's our story and we would love to have you join us.  Like Jesus said "Come and See".
If you are interested in joining or starting a small group, please contact Barbara Smyth at bsmyth@haddonfieldumc.com
